Alon Summer 2025 is a fashion booklet created as a promotional piece for a fictional summer collection of tropical printed shirts. Inspired by the Filipino word alon, meaning “waves,” the visual direction draws from the movement, colour, and relaxed energy associated with summer and coastal environments. The collection was positioned around lightweight, expressive clothing designed to move easily between different summer settings.
Using photographs produced for the project, I developed the visual direction, edited the images in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic, and designed and assembled the final booklet in Adobe InDesign. The publication combines fashion photography, image editing, and editorial design to establish a consistent identity for the collection.
The eight-page booklet was structured as a visual introduction to Alon, combining fashion photography, product-focused imagery, and editorial copy across a series of spreads. I developed the layout with attention to visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and pacing, creating a clear progression from the introduction of the collection through its featured looks and closing message.
Beyond the digital layout, I also prepared the project for print production. The final deliverables included a press-ready PDF with the appropriate print setup, a physical printed and bound booklet, an accessible PDF with alt text and accessibility considerations, and a packaged InDesign file.
The project reflects my approach to visual communication across multiple stages of production, from shaping imagery and layout to preparing a finished piece for both print and digital formats.
