Hi, I’m Leah /lay-ah/, a Filipina creative based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

I work with images, and my background in photography has stayed with me as a way of seeing. Moving through publishing, research, and design over the years pushed my thinking beyond the image itself, toward how ideas are structured, how visuals flow within a larger system, and how those small but intentional decisions hold a story together.

The work I make for myself tends to be quieter, often circling around themes of memory, identity, and lived experience. It usually begins with something personal, something felt before it's understood — perhaps a memory, a longing, a state of mind — and more often than not I find it in the ordinary and the overlooked. I try to translate that into images while still leaving enough space for someone else to find their own meaning in it.
