Leah /lay-ah/ (b.1989) is a Filipina multidisciplinary artist and creative professional based in Toronto. Working across photography and design, she often returns to themes of nostalgia, identity, and the ways people think of home and belonging. Her practice also looks closely at the contrasts that shape everyday life, including the pull between quiet and chaos, stillness and movement, and absence and presence.
Her process begins with observation, paying attention to small details that hold deeper meaning. Through images and visual narratives, she explores how memory and the mundane can reveal layered truths, creating work that feels both personal and open for others to reflect on.
Alongside her personal projects, Leah has collaborated with brands, publishers, and cultural organizations, approaching each with the same story-driven sensitivity that grounds her artistic work.
